Almost all retailers have "Employee" Manuals with rules, regulations, policies, employment info, etc., but few have a separate "Operations" Manual. Instead of containing such items as policies, benefits, and rules, an Operations Manual focuses on items such as customer service expectations, how different store tasks are performed, daily procedures, vendor/supplier information, etc. This separate Operations Manual gives employees the information they need to carry out and complete the routine tasks that make up their day.
